Margaret Galvin received a BFA in Fashion Design and a BA in Art History from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in December 2015. While at MassArt, she discovered a love for costume design, followed by internships and assistant design positions with numerous Boston theatre companies including; Stoneham Theatre, Boston Conservatory, Speak Easy Stage Company and Fiddlehead Theatre Company.
Margaret currently works on films based in New England, her first being the Peter Berg directed Patriots Day (2016), an experience she holds close to her heart. She most recently worked on Chappaquiddick (2017) with designers David Robinson and Lee Harper. In addition to her film work with notable New York designers and talented Boston artists, styling has become a creative outlet for Margaret as it meshes her love of fashion with her appreciation of the transformative stories that clothing can tell. She has worked with many talented young photographers in the Boston area, and loves to develop strong, collaborative relationships with each team.
