Kayt Silvers' earliest artistic projects involved organizing sticks, rocks, and leaves into appealing formations. This innate drive to bring some sense of order to chaos has taken her in many directions; from installation art and sculpture, to surface and textile chemistry, and eventually to creative direction, photography, and styling. Drawing influences from history, art, architecture, and cinema, her photographic styling work emphasizes color and shape to create small, idiosyncratic worlds that exist both within a single photograph as well as across a series. In her other life, she is one half of the photography duo Silvers & Bynes.
